Mohair Laceweight Shawls

Asymmetrical Mohair Shawl.

I love wearing thick ponchos but sometimes you want something lighter. I found this beautiful ombres mohair blend yarn and knew it would make a wonderful shawl. The yarn is a lace weight so it makes a very light shawl, it only weighs 100grams!   

But it is warm without feeling heavy. It can be worn under a coat for a extra layer of warmth. I've also worn mine as a large scarf. It doesn't add extra bulk like a thicker yarn would so it suits many body types. The colours will dress up the most basic outfit or just wear with jeans and a tee. Also, it folds up small for traveling. My wearing tip is to line the seam along a arm so the longer points are at the front and back.  

The size of shawl is 27 inches along bottom of seam to top. 48 inches for circumference.

I use a lace weight mohair/wool/acrylic blend yarn. Since the yarn is multicolored each shawl is unique. And colours will look different on other devices. Hand wash only. But can be ironed if necessary. There is a care instructions tag sewn in the shawl.
